As the city where the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence, it’s no wonder Philadelphia tops the list of the best places to witness fireworks honoring our country’s independence. The Wawa Welcome America Festival is a weeklong celebration offering three opportunities to experience the city’s dazzling light show. Two shows light up Penn’s Landing on the Delaware River in the days leading up to the Fourth with the main fireworks event on Independence Day itself. Watch festive explosions high above the Philadelphia Museum of Art on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
